Greetings from New Hampshire and best wishes for a bountiful summer season!
As a result of the generous amount of rainfall this past spring, we are delighted with the abundance of flowers and plants in our yard. The nearby lake is high and our dog Mickie is enjoying his frequent swims. So, stay cool and enjoy the outdoors. Remember you can find beauty anywhere, if you only look for it.
John and I are very happy to bring you the July 2010 newsletter! We hope that you will find this, and subsequent newsletters to be both interesting and helpful to you in your practice of Reiki. Here we provide information about Reiki retrieved from John Harvey Gray's vast storehouse of knowledge and experience ... first acquired during his training received from Hawayo Takata … and later expanded during his 34 years of practicing and teaching Reiki. For myself, Lourdes Gray, I bring to you my own invaluable years of experience with Reiki. My own Reiki journey began as a Reiki I student with John … then continued with my practicing and teaching Reiki by his side for these past 15 years. Our desire is that the information presented in each newsletter adds to your knowledge of Reiki and provides you with more tools for your Reiki practice. We always enjoy hearing from you. More Takata Speaks!
This month we once again have a special treat for you. Back by popular demand, we present to you another special question and answer session by Mr. Hawayo Takata. In 1975, Mrs. Hawayo Takata, the Japanese-American woman who brought Reiki to the West, presented a number of programs on Reiki at Trinity Metaphysical Center, in Redwood City, CA. Trinity Metaphysical Center was a chapter in the Universal Church of the Master, and also served as the first Reiki center in the United States.
